The daughter writes in detail about her day to day life in terror while in psychosis as some questions if she is really ill. The mother is shocked to learn she was always in question about her own mental state and struggles with judgement and betrayal as she finds a way to move past the gossip, insistent on getting help for her daughter's mind, getting employment secured as they rebuild their life and home after being homeless briefly.
