Your infant must demonstrate readiness for solid foods by roughly 6 months, but no earlier than 4 months. The first foods may be mashed or smooth. Food can then be roughly chopped or mashed.
Iron-rich meals should be included in the first meal. Any number of foods can be introduced at once, in any combination.
Use infant formula or continue breastfeeding your child until they are at least 12 months old. Additionally, breastfeeding and/or infant formula provide them with some iron.
Babies should begin eating solid food at the six-month mark.
In order to assist newborns learn how to eat, solid food introduction is crucial. This exposes them to a variety of new flavors and textures. Their teeth and jaws grow, and other skills are developed that will be necessary for language development later.
