How to Play the Concertina

The concertina, a free-reed musical instrument, was invented in the early 19th century. Its invention is credited to Sir Charles Wheatstone, an English scientist and inventor, who patented his version of the instrument in 1829. Wheatstone's design was an English concertina, which was fully chromatic and allowed for the same note to be played when pressing a button, regardless of the direction of the bellows.
