How to Live Positive in a Negative World

We live in a world filled with negativity which can easily lead to despair and has done just that in many instances; however, we must intentionally fight to overcome negativity. This book looks at the life of one young girl, Celeste, who grew up in a negative environment but was fortunate to have someone who cared enough to show her how she could be surrounded by negativity without allowing it to consume her. With the help of a grandmother figure, Ms. Emma, she learns that life and death are in the power of the tongue and her life takes on new meaning. She finds purpose She learns that death and despair do not have to be the outcome of negativity when one can be empowered with the proper tools and instructions to control their thought- life. She learns that negative experiences and beliefs cause inner struggles and wars. These inner struggles, this inner turmoil, can result in destructive behaviors including suicide, if not dealt with appropriately. While there are many ways to deal with negativity, Celeste learns to use her Christian faith and the Word of God to live a positive life amidst the negative forces surrounding her. This book gives some examples of positive instruction with encouraging suggestions to promote positive living. Within this book are examples of some tools used by Celeste and some of her friends. Readers of this book are asked to use the blank pages to develop their own combat tactics and strategic plans to war against negative forces. After reading recommended scriptures along with others of their own choosing, the reader should meditate and ask God questions for better understanding and clarity. Of course, the solicitation of wise counsel is advised as necessary, which is also something that Celeste and her friends do in this book, when there is need for greater clarity and understanding. With the Bible as the source of our hope and through joining forces with like minded positive individuals, with prayer and thanksgiving, the challenges of life can be faced successfully, head on and in a way that deflects the real or imagined weapons of destruction too often activated by the tongue.
