How the West Was Lost

The Legends are Back Buck Hawkins and Dobie Garrett, fresh off the outlaw trail and cleared of all trumped-up charges against them, are back doing what they do best as ordinary cowboys on the Singletree Ranch in the Texas Panhandle, happy as a pup with a buttered biscuit. But they can't escape their largely unearned reputations as deadly, cold-eyed gunmen, living legends of the Old West. Buck and Dobie's contentment ends when a stranger rides up to Singletree headquarters looking for the pair.
