Humans have many historical reasons to resort to war, but that was never our Destiny. We are destined to grow in our ability to Love, then on into Unconditional Love, and finally much beyond that. At the present moment, there is an exponential process of change underway and 'business as usual' may be permanently a thing of the past. Humans are evolving into a new species who live in evolving stages of Love, not the historical stages of Fear. For a short time, however, the two may compete for dominance and we may be into tumultuous times. Our genes make us susceptible to an 'us versus them' mentality that has been used, and also misused, over the ages to provide supposed safety for our local, tribal and national groups; often with disastrous results. Our most primitive, reptilian brain acts as though life is a 'kill or be killed' affair, while our early mammalian brain is all about small groups being "All for one and one for all " This is both a step up and a useful response under some present conditions. Our later mammalian brain goes back to a tribal, or national, version of 'us versus them, ' with them being nasty, bad and worthy of decimation. Our last, Logical brain ignores our spiritual nature and can be used to justify atrocities, according to local, relative value systems. The evolution of the thinking but fearful Homo sapiens into the loving Homo spiritus is guiding a significant fraction of present humanity into an anti-war and inclusive approach to all of creation. We are now being seen as One, and when we go to war it is ultimately against a part of ourselves. This type of loving view of all creation has already changed the balance of power, at the spiritual level, and will soon also change it at the secular level as well. This is because the rate of change into our new loving form is starting to look like an exploding (exponential) rate of change. Not everyone is happy with this sort of change and some groups are already reacting in madness, expressed as senseless violence. Those who hold power through Fear are not happy either, nor are those who build wealth through the business of making tools of war. In the end, their ways are numbered, but they have blinded themselves to this evolving Truth. We really can be blind to things that we do not want to see. There are many ways that humans can help the change to fully living in the ways of Love over mere surviving in Fear. Societal support for those leading in Love can be promoted as a way to permanently change the balance of values and power. Each and every one of us can: help the process along; choose to fight it; or do the worst thing and choose not to choose. If we choose to do nothing we will help in stretching out the battle and increasing the amount of damage done by the conflict we can see all around us. One of our common messages must be that choosing not to choose is a choice that will have a damning karma for those who make that choice.Love will vanquish war, but the incidental damage can be significantly made less by reducing the number of humans who make the choice not to choose
