Beskrivelse
How many times as we were growing up were we told to "put your shoes on"? It sounded like a sensible idea. Ever since durable footwear became more widely accessible a few generations ago, individuals have valued the protection they provide. It changed the way people walked since they were no longer concerned about the discomfort of walking on rough or pointy surfaces.
You'll notice that your walk changes from walking in shoes to walking barefoot. When you walk barefoot, you take extra care to land on your toes so they can act as shock absorbers. You most likely walk erratically in shoes, stomping on the ground and landing on your heel because you're afraid of stepping on something sharp. You are aware that your shoes will keep your feet safe. However, wearing shoes more often and going barefoot or in light shoes less has had an unanticipated effect on most people's poor posture and back pain.
Discover a tried-and-true, yet mostly ignored, healthy walking technique by reading this book.
