How Carnforth Steamed Into the 20th Century

Nestling at the north-east end of Lancashire's Morecambe Bay, is the ancient town of Carnforth. Inhabited since Roman times, Carnforth grew from a small village into a 19th century railway town, the junction of three major lines.
