The day begins badly enough for John, Ryley and Summer who, having lost their favourite teacher, have to cope with the hideous Miss Hag (a teacher who truly lives up to her name) and are then given a detention. But that is just the start... The children soon realise that they are facing dark powers and dangers they could never have imagined.
