When Whitney Coleman agreed to manage Heron Lodge for several months, she wondered if she could handle the upkeep, the meal-planning, and a million other chores. Yet she performed all her normal duties with ease. The only thing she could not cope with was the childish prankster who covered the linens with paint and stole things from the kitchen.

Then the pranks grew more serious--and Whitney was almost killed. But who at Heron Lodge hated her and why?
