Hopelessness of Arjuna

When there is darkness or restlessness in the Soul because of the actions and desires of mind and senses by ignorance, to cool down the Soul with wisdom and intelligence, the  Supreme enters.

No King alone can lead a kingdom. The power of King and the intelligence and wisdom of the Guru is required to establish goodness and well being. 

Intelligence and wisdom remove ignorance.
