After the death of her husband, Tara must face parenthood alone. She names her daughter Hope, because she wanted her daughter to serve as a reminder that she must never give up hope. Tara tries twice as hard to do what is best for Hope, but it takes almost losing her child to learn that sometimes what a parent thinks is best, might not be the case.
