Beskrivelse

Hope is very important in our daily survival whether Christians or non Christians because without hope we cannot look into the future with anticipation. Hope is that confidence that although the trials that muzzle your energy are cumbersome, there is a possibility that they will be better because we know where we have our confidence. It is at this decision point that therein lies a dichotomy between those who know God and those who do not. Nowadays many attach their hopes on coping mechanisms like sex, drugs, television, and other soporifics. This book is an attempt to point you to true hope and how you could attain it. The Apostle Paul said "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body." Therefore, to survive spiritually, the hero or heroine must apply hope else we live in carpe diem and existentialism- believing that the present condition when appeased with immediate materialism for a moment is sufficient; after all, the whole future is bleak. Bearing in mind that it is one of the Christian virtues, God calls us to hope because hope becomes the grease on our elbows.
