Hope for the Best: A Romance

Hope Jones grew up on Lake Sutton. It was a vacation hot spot, and summertime flings were a part of life there. In fact, that was how her own parents had met years ago.

Those romances never seemed to amount to anything, though. Even Hope's parents eventually broke up.

Hope was trying to remind herself of that when Charlie Morgan walked through the door at her best friend's restaurant. Years had passed since Hope and Charlie had spent their childhood summers together. Charlie was definitely a man now, and Hope was beginning to feel not-so-jaded about a harmless summertime romance.
