Dani Sullivan had the career of her dreams as a forensic anthropologist. Her tumultuous past left her with the inability to speak, but she learned to deal with what life threw her way by living in plain sight. Things clicked in place for her when she met the love of her life.
Nate Crosby, now an analysist for the FBI, fell in love with Dani the moment he laid eyes on her. They dated for a few years before life got in the way and they drifted apart as their careers took off.
Together again, and working on an intense case, they pick up their relationship where it left off, while still respecting each other for what they brought to the table. Will Dani's past, something Nate knew nothing about, catch up with her and put them in danger? Will Nate be able to forgive Dani for not telling him the truth?
