Homesteading Along the Mormon Trail

This is a detailed story of hardships the young teenage couple encountered as they headed West to settle a new land. There is excitement in their close encounters with the various Amerindians they meet along way West-and the Indian friends the made. And romance as the two teenagers fall in love along the trail. Conscripted by the US Army, Young Caleb returns from the Mexican War with a small sack of golden Pesos; enough coins to start their successful ranch in Central Kansas.
