Jessica Niles is twenty-three, the mother of a five-year-old, and running for her life.

 

Kaedon Ballard is thirty and has never quite been able to put the pieces of his shattered heart back together. He's not been interested in another relationship until a young single mother and her son wind up in Warm Springs.

 

His brother, Rylor, befriended Jessica and her son Zane six months ago. Kaedon sees the special bond Rylor has with Jessica but isn't convinced it's merely platonic.  Add drugs, human trafficking, and an ex-girlfriend and Warm Springs is the center of more than one family drama.
