Advent is a time of preparation for the coming of Jesus at Christmas. The season of Advent often creates an opportunity to take up a spiritual discipline to draw closer to God. It is a time of generosity reflecting the generosity of God in giving us God's son. It can be made even more meaningful by doing a daily devotional reading.
