Holiday Spirit

Winter is known to bring out the holiday spirit and this year is no different for James and Beth. Traditionally, their family celebrates

Christmas and the New Year. However, in the spirit of unity, or Umoja, their family decides to introduce them to Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa is a week-long celebration honoring African American heritage and culture through seven principles -- unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith.
