Hitchhiking Adventures is an accurate description of sometimes life and death events on a hitchhiking trip I made in the summer of 1970. The round trip took my friend and I from New Jersey to San Francisco. We were both 16 with very little money and solely depended on the compassion of others to give us a ride.
