This book presents an alternate view of the War Between the States. Most histories present Lincoln as an almost heroic god-like leader, but this book takes into account some of Lincoln's questionable views and actions during his presidency which have been ignored by many writers. On the other hand, many historians do not focus too much on the opposing leadership of the president of the Confederacy, Jefferson Davis. History Untold presents Lincoln's dark side and also considers Jefferson Davis's views.
