Ils étudient ainsi la logique classique dans ses deux variantes, aristotélicienne et stoïcienne. This is a history of logic manual. In the book, the authors actually hold that the dazzling development of logic, through mathematization, should not spare us the necessity of deciphering its history. Thus, they study classical logic in its two variants: Aristotelian and Stoic.
