His Proposed Deal

THREE MONTHS. IT WAS ONLY FOR THREE MONTHS.

My plan was set in motion. I was finally relocating from Miami to New York to pursue my lifelong dream of attending Parsons School of Design. Along the journey, I never anticipated encountering a strikingly handsome man and receiving an email that would reshape my plans and the trajectory of my life.

Max Hamilton was a twenty-five-year-old, irresistibly attractive, affluent playboy who was to take over Hamilton Securities. His proposed deal entailed me posing as his fiancée until his twenty-sixth birthday, in which he would gain access to his trust fund. In exchange for my help, he would pay for my tuition at Parsons—something I definitely needed. It was a beneficial arrangement for both of us. It was only for three months, and everything would work out great. When our time was up, we would end our sham of an engagement and go our separate ways.

Falling in love was never part of the agreement, nor was the secret Max must never discover.
