Josie doesn't know about his Spanish stepmother. Or that his roving eye is also on her next-door neighbour, a blonde bombshell who sunbathes topless on her patio. And Mark is unaware of Josie's troubled past. Nonetheless he wins her over. And that's when the issues begin to mount up. How they are resolved comprises the main sequence of the story.

Mark's two boozy brothers make sure of a mention and more, but it is ultimately the wise and beautiful Senora Almeda who finds the answer... in her own unique way.
