She sets out to find the legendary quiach so she and Gavin can be free to marry. In turn, Gavin goes to her father to surrender, praying his bold act will stop the killing. It doesn't, and now Gavin's life is about to end. The only thing that can save him now is Una's success in finding the quaich-if it exists at all.
