Beskrivelse
The PaRDeS method of exegesis, developed by Kabbalistic traditions, particularly Rabbi Moses de Leon, offers a multi-faceted approach to understanding sacred texts. Exegesis is the study of meaning in holy scriptures. This method of exegesis involves looking at the scripture. It includes four levels: (1) Peshat (literal meaning), (2) Remez (allegorical meaning), (3) Derash (symbolic meaning), (4) Sod (secret or mystical meaning). By applying PaRDeS to the teachings of Jesus Christ, we can uncover deeper insights and meanings. In this book, we examine some of the main teachings of Jesus, starting with the Sermon of the Mount and then the individual parables as laid out in the gospels of Matthew and Luke. In each case the biblical section has been included followed by a comprehensive exegesis and summary in each case. It is hoped that the reader will gain a newer and fresher understanding of Jesus's teachings and see them as something much more than simple moral tales from these interpretations.
