"Here is the News" takes an unusual approach to the Bible, exploring it in terms of styles of current news reporting - photo-opportunity and soundbite (as in "John"), doorstepping ("Luke"), celebrity news (David and Bathsheba), video package and studio discussion ("Matthew"). Understanding what news is and how it is crafted helps us understand how better to craft news about God.
