Before Leonidas and the 300 Spartans, the demigod Herakles was the guardian of the hot gates at Thermopylae. As the defender of the flaming gates, Herakles undertakes the task of destroying a group of dark warriors who desire to gain control of the rocky mountain pass. They want to use the curative power of the hot springs to fulfill their destructive purposes. The demigod realizes that the only way he can overcome a dark destiny is to help forge the path of a future king who will defeat the enemies of freedom.
