Herausforderungen für das Recht der zivilen Sicherheit in Europa

This volume is the result of a unique Germany-wide network of junior researchers from several fields of law. They discuss current issues in European security research from a legal point of view. In the first part of the book various aspects of civil security in the European and international mul-tilevel-system are analyzed, such as data retention, the prohibition of double jeopardy, the prohi-bition of torture and the management of the EU's external borders. The second part deals with particular security issues in both the economy and society.
