Child anemia is a public health problem of priority at national and global level, being iron deficiency anemia the most prevalent in children under 3 years of age, which brings adverse consequences in cognitive development, psychomotor skills and socialization, especially if it occurs in a critical period such as growth and brain differentiation, whose maximum peak is observed in children under two years of age, constituting the main problems affecting early childhood development.
