Beskrivelse
THE APOSTLE PAUL DECLARED that the suffering of this life, whatever it may be, is not even "worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us-ward." The hope of Heaven has been part of the very fabric of the Church from its earliest beginning. Jesus confirmed to his disciples, and all those who would come after them, that "I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" (John 14:2,3). Ever since he returned to sit by the throne of his Father, the driving goal of the Believer has ever been to be where he is. It is the ultimate prize of the Christian. But that does not mean we have been left with only hazy ideas of Heaven's environs. Bishop Weaver gathers all the data into one compilation for the encouragement of the Christian. This is a volume to be understood and held fast by the Believer. His goal is to cheer the pilgrim on the sometimes painful, and always dangerous, route to the capital city of the King of Kings.
