He was just supposed to be another patient. There wasn't anything special about Master Chief Heath Nelson . . . only everything about this man was special. Everything about him turned Bronwyn's insides to jelly.

When he ghosted her she thought he was just like every other guy. She tried to forget him, but she couldn't. She couldn't move on and she couldn't forget the one date they'd gone on.

Maybe one day . . .

Heath wondered what had happened. He texted her after their date, but she never responded. What had happened. Where had she gone?

Well, she hadn't really gone anywhere. He knew exactly where she was. She was still working in her clinic where she was supposed to be, only she was ignoring him.

He didn't want to go to the doctor, there were other doctors he could see, but it just happened that she was the closest when he needed her the most. Bronwyn was the only one who could help him in his moment of need.

Maybe they could clear the air. Maybe he could convince her to give him another chance.
