"Heartstopper Volume Four" by Alice Oseman is another great installment in the amazing bestselling YA series about the teenagers Nick and Charlie, who now officially are boyfriends.

Charlie once thought he had zero chance of having Nick liking him back, but thankfully Nick went through a journey of his own and realized he was into Charlie. The former friends have now become an official couple and are happier together than ever. While Charlie is thinking about telling Nick that he loves him, Nick is occupied by other, more sobering thoughts. Nick has yet to come out to his parents and is especially worried about what his father will think. Nick is also having a hard time figuring out what to do, because he suspects that Charlie has an eating disorder and doesn't know what he can do to help.

As summer vacation is coming to an end and with another school year lurking on the horizon, the young couple are about to learn a lot more about what it means to love somebody.

This beautifully drawn and artfully told graphic novel is a queer story for the ages. It is also a sweet and relatable story about friendship, loyalty, romance and mental illness in the life of the two teenage boys.
