Hearts Intertwined

The thoughts of him were bittersweet. She loved the memories, yet they reminded her of something she didn't have. He had given her something she couldn't give herself. Through him she was able to break free from the memories. All the years of trauma, torture, and judgment were wiped away. For just a moment, she could experience a carefree joy, something that he had brought out in her. It was a feeling she thought about all night, a feeling she longed for even if it was only for a moment. He loved her in a way no one ever had. It was a love now sadly lost in the ripple of time.
