Beskrivelse
In this humorous but easily identifiable monologue, "Terry Tightwad" tells of his transformation from a cold-hearted miser into a kind and charitable person-then back again After he makes a resolution to be more generous, he discovers there's no end to people and organizations that have their hand out for donations. When he comes down hard on his own daughter selling Girl Scout cookies, he realizes he's been stretched too thin. But he doesn't know what to do-how can you be kind to others without going broke? The monologue ends with him asking the audience for answers-and silence. A great set-up for a talk on giving.Topics: GIVINGCharacters: 1 MALEParticipants: 1Author: Judson Poling
