Hearts can be broken, and mouths often spout lies. Deeds can be deadly, and life is a nasty surprise. A tribute to author Richard Laymon, Heart and Mouth Deed and Life begins with nine best friends who plan to vacation and relax on a seemingly deserted island. Only the island isn't deserted, and the women quickly learn that they are in the midst of a deadly game that they didn't agree to play. A conveniently found diary, a ship graveyard, and old, decomposed bodies in cages are just the beginning. The women are being brutally hunted by cannibalistic savages.
