Beskrivelse
John Knox, a Scottish preacher during the early years of the Reformation, spoke out against the Roman Catholic Church. He lived in England from 1549 to 1554 during the reign of King Edward VI and Queen Mary I. He preached and wrote about justification by faith, idolatry, God's covenant with mankind, and spiritual warfare. He regarded himself as a prophet, warning those in England of Jesus Christ's imminent return.
