Jamal has always left Shay breathless and with a racing heart.
Ever since Jamal and Shay started competing in track together, Shay has been fighting against a growing desire for Jamal. She knows she shouldn't feel the way she does, but every time she looks at him, all she can think about is how his body would feel pressed against her own.
All Shay wants is to give into her desires, but there are a million reasons why she shouldn't give in. The biggest obstacle standing between Shay and Jamal is the fact that they both have baggage. Jamal is trapped in a dead-end marriage, and Shay, well she's a single mother struggling to raise her daughter alone.
With the growing attraction between them, Jamal has to decide if he's willing to leave his comfort zone and pursue Shay.
But if he does, will Shay be able to trust that he can support not only her, but also her daughter?
