Not every girl can say their brother is a member of a famous band. Only, I want that too. I have the same dream as them. Music has been my everything for as long as I can remember.

The band is in town for the summer. And, as excited as I am to see my brother, I'm afraid to fall back into old habits. They need to come up with new material and the lead singer is convinced I can help. The problem? I've had a crush on him since I was little.

Hazy Summer is at the end of the rope. The label is ready to drop us if we don't come up with something new. I can't admit that to the rest of the guys yet. I know if I can recreate the summer when everything changed and the song writing came easy, it'll help.

There's only one person who can help me, and she's avoiding me.

It doesn't help that I'm seeing her in a new way. It feels forbidden. She's my best friend's little sister.
