Having Strength

Life seems to take a twisted downward spiral for the Simmons family after the death of James's mother. They celebrate in Julie's graduation from Yale and Sadie's wedding, but must pull together and try to make it through the grieving process and his father's stroke. The thought of James taking on the role of senior pastor of the church pulls his marriage to a breaking point. A year of ups and downs causes a plethora of emotions in their family. As the waves crash around them from every side, they realize that they cannot stand on their own strength, but God's. The Simmons family knows God with an intimate relationship, but can they hold onto Him to get them through the valley? Will they listen and wait for Him to lead them onto the mountaintop?
