This is a compelling story of two complete strangers who met and become friends as they were seeking help in a outpatient rehabilitation program for people suffering with PTSD. Bob, a Vietnam Vet, whose eyes have seen and hands that have committed the horrors of war finds himself in a place in life where it is difficult to look at himself in the mirror. Not only does his PTSD affect his daytime activities, his nights are filled with the horrors of his memories. Helen, a nurse who had just started working at the same facility, is the mother of a Afghanistan Vet who wants answers to where her fun loving son has gone. As you join this healing journey, you will learn about the pain and suffering of PTSD. PTSD does not discriminate against whom it inflicts; it lurks in the shadows ready to strike not only the soldier, but his family, friends and all that he comes in contact with.
