Spirits, Poltergeists, and Wraiths are just a few of the many ghosts Mila, Jax, and Camille have been up against. Although her friends support her haunting hobby, they always flee the second danger arises, and Mila heeds their every warning. However, when searching for a new hunt, the name "Cadence" catches her eye, and a house where a mysterious murder occurred calls her unlike any other. Upon reaching the house, Mila is immediately hit with a wave of déjà vu, and one look at the violent ghost residing inside shatters her heart in a way she could not explain.
Why did he look so familiar? Why did he attack her friends but not her? And why did her neighbor, whom she barely spoke to, seem so against her visits to the Cadence House? All these questions only fueled her morbid curiosity, and against her friend's warnings, she would get answers...Even if it might just end up being her demise.
