Letho Ferron never wanted to be a hero, but a persistent sense of right and wrong combined with mischievous tendencies intertwined his fate with the Mendraga, a foul alien race that attacked the Centennial Fulcrum, a deep space exploration and colonization vessel that had been Letho's home since birth. Thankfully Letho also crossed paths with the Tarsi, a lost race of bear-like beings who have forgotten their former glory and dwell inside the Fulcrum stations as servants. Join Letho as he journeys to his home planet for the first time along with Deacon Shipke, a cocky pilot and Letho's best friend, a group of loyal Tarsi led by Bayorn and Maka, and Thresha Wheatley, a Mendraga warrior who has fallen in with Letho's group in what could, at best, be described as an uneasy alliance.
