Hard Choices for Christians

It is so easy to check off the box { } Christian next to it. The reality is that to live as a follower of Jesus is not simple or easy. It is demanding It allows for mistakes, errors of judgement; inviting us to change the way we look at things and how we deal with the issues of our time The scriptures and the traditions of the mainline Christian denominations call us to respond differently than those who do not believe in Jesus. When discrimination, infidelity, abandonment, parenting, teenagers, or even God and church are raised; why is our response going to be different if we really are followers of Christ and committed to living that faith out on a daily basis? The ensuing essays raise those questions and explore some ways of responding. The reader's challenge is to explore these and others as they pass on their faith.
