Beskrivelse
Hang the Teacher Out to Dry is a wry and sometimes humorous account of thirty years teaching in six different countries.
Travelling from the mountains of Mexico to the heat of Malawi and taking in China, Qatar, Tanzania, the UK and Bangladesh on the way, this is the story of one teacher's never-ending quest for the perfect student, class and school. Inevitably there is frustration, accompanied by much headbanging leading to the teacher's eventual demise.
Mark Whitworth brings to life the apparent mundanity of the classroom and pitches moment upon moment of humour and heartache in equal measure. If this account is anything to go by, his students were exceptionally lucky.
This second edition includes various corrections and grammatic updates.
