Half Our Memories and Other Poems

"Half Our Memories," a collection of delicate woven peoms, holds an African key to exploring traditionality, spirituality, ancestral linkage and proverbs which harmonises the very fundamental elements of African poetry as expressed through echoing sounds of African orature. In this poetry collection, the reader is not only allowed to thread through critical poetic fibre of the African land, but equally thrown into a deeper reflection of who truly the African is and what makes him who he is. In a well defined Akanism conceptions, the poet in diverse eye raising and squeaky voice, laments his hearts out on the very traditions and values (culture) of his own homeling and land which are set to rot, whiles at best explores the most vibrant elements of the African society in a deeper reflective oracle of memories held inside a calabash of tapped African poems.
