Hal believed that he had to be born from a certain breed of dogs to belong to a family. He did not value his own beauty and uniqueness. He had very little hope of being bought by a family from Prizzi's Pet Palace. However, Hal failed to realize that there is a dog that is a perfect fit for any family or person that wanted one.
