Haiku, Senyru & Tanka

Haiku, Senyru & Tanka is a collection of unique versions of these traditional Japanese verse forms. It includes haikui: a traditional Japanese verse form of three lines with seventeen syllables in a 5/7/5 arrangement. Senryu follows the same form as haiku: three lines, seventeen syllables in 5/7/5 arrangement, but is more about human foibles. Tanka is a Japanese poem form of thirty-one syllables arranged in five lines with a 5/7/5/7/7 syllable count.
