The Gutenberg Bible is the greatest celebrity in the history of book arts. In the 15th century Gutenberg invented printing from movable type, enabling the creation of his illustrated 42-line Bible. This Paperblanks Parabole journal cover reproduces an illuminated page by Gisela Maschmann, whose painting is modelled on Gutenberg’s masterwork.
