Gus Unleashed: A Kelli Gustafson Novel

When it comes to stopping criminals, strong willed Detective Kelli 'Gus" Gustafson is a one-woman wrecking crew. Gus' eccentric boss, police chief Gordon "Gordo" Pruitt who is secretly in love with her, is the only person she hasn't alienated with her over-the-top perfectionism. After she kills a powerful local gang leader's nephew during an armed robbery attempt, Gordo assigns her to protect Florida senator Miriam Chase, who is crisscrossing the United States campaigning for president. When Gus awakes, she finds that she and Miriam are both handcuffed and closely guarded by several gunmen onboard a private jet flying to an unknown destination.
